The Roaring Run Trail is part of Trans Allegheny Trails (TAT).
In the heart of Pennsylvania’s Allegheny Mountains, the Trans Allegheny Trails are a system of rail-trails that go through some of the mountains’ most scenic areas. In most cases, grades are kept to 4 percent or less, though some sections can be challenging. The system spans Armstrong, Cambria, Clearfield, Indiana, and Jefferson counties. The ultimate goal of the Trans Allegheny Trails’ operators is to connect as many of our trails as possible into a continuous system.
More information on Trans Allegheny Trails is available on their website.
